The Maldives recently celebrated its 60th Independence Day with the inauguration of the new Velana International Airport terminal. The new terminal spans 78,000 square meters and is designed to accommodate up to 7 million passengers each year. Following the drone show, a record-setting fireworks display also took place, emphasizing the celebratory spirit of the occasion.
