Two Charged in Murder of FBI Informant in Truck Scam
Two men from New Orleans, Sean Alfortish and Leon Parker, have been indicted for the murder of a cooperating FBI witness, Cornelius Garrison, connected to a long-running scheme of staged truck accidents aimed at defrauding insurance companies. Garrison was killed in September 2020 while aiding the FBI investigation into numerous fraudulent incidents that had occurred since 2011.
