The CASE Construction Equipment E Series full-sized crawler excavator lineup has been expanded with two new short-radius models: the 15-ton, 105-horsepower CX145E SR and the 27-ton, 160-horsepower CX255E SR. These machines are designed to perform in tight spaces by blending ample digging power and breakout forces with advanced features, a compact footprint, and smooth controls.
The introduction of these new models builds on the performance and operator experience of the CASE excavator platform. Both the CX145E SR and CX255E SR feature significant upgrades in technology and operator assistance, including payload weighing directly in the bucket and dynamic stability assist.
Technology upgrades work alongside raw power to provide operators with a more efficient and effective digging experience. The CASE Assist and Payload controls bring a suite of smart features to the cab, allowing operators to monitor their machine's performance in real-time.

Improved hydraulics also provide customizable hydraulic flow balance for arm-in, boom-up, and swing functions, giving operators more control over their machines. This allows them to dial in precision for more effective digging and placement.
Operators can adjust the power to the task with four fuel-efficient work modes, including Super Power for maximum possible power and Eco for more fuel efficiency. This flexibility helps reduce fatigue and increase productivity.
CASE telematics and software provide precise data on fuel usage and other metrics, enabling fleet managers and operators to further increase efficiency and minimize machine downtime.

Connectivity is built into the core of these new models with a new bidirectional modem for 2-way communication telematics. This allows remote diagnostics, assistance, and software updates to be performed quickly and efficiently.
The operator experience takes top priority in the design of these new machines, with a focus on comfort, ergonomics, and reduced vibration while tracking. The new cab environment offers a smoother ride and helps minimize operator fatigue during long shifts.
CASE's focus on operator experience is a key factor in the success of its excavator lineups.
