FIFA World Cup RV Park Supply Soars

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is expected to bring a surge in outdoor hospitality demand near US host cities, with RV park supply more than tripling year-on-year for the June 10–20 tournament window.

According to new data from global hospitality platform RMS and specialist outdoor hospitality online travel agency Spot2Nite, RV parks listed on Spot2Nite within 50 miles of US World Cup host cities have seen a significant increase in availability.

This trend is likely driven by outdoor hospitality operators turning to online travel agencies and distribution channels to make their inventory visible and bookable ahead of the highly anticipated event.

As the wider accommodation sector prepares for an uneven World Cup demand curve, RV parks are poised to play a more prominent role in the overall accommodation mix.

The data also reveals significant differences in pricing across host-city markets, with coastal and high-demand areas commanding premium rates.

For example, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia are currently seeing average nightly rates between $97 and $190 for the June 10–20 window.

In contrast, Dallas and Kansas City are averaging considerably lower nightly rates, at approximately $56 to $68.

Houston stands out as the largest and most varied market, with more listed parks than any other host-city area.

The city's unique mix of high-demand areas and standard summer pricing creates an opportunity for RV park operators to differentiate themselves through strategic pricing and marketing efforts.

EazyInWay Expert Take

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, RV park operators must prioritize visibility, pricing, and bookability to capitalize on shifting demand.
