Hyundai has finally unveiled the IONIQ 3, a compact electric hatchback that marks a new typology in the EV segment.
The IONIQ 3 stands apart from its siblings with its unique 'Aero Hatch' design, which features four dots up front representing 'H' in Morse Code.
This design element is a nod to Hyundai's signature style, while also giving the IONIQ 3 a sporty and low-slung look.

The standard model drops the black wheel arch cladding and upgraded sporty bumper of the N-Line version, but retains its overall shape and profile.
Inside, the standard IONIQ 3 remains nearly identical to the N-Line version without the added badges and extras.
The new Pleos Connect Infotainment system is based on Android Automotive OS, offering a smartphone-like experience that's customizable and easier to use.

The IONIQ 3 is powered by Hyundai's E-GMP platform with two battery pack options: 42.2 kWh and 61 kWh, delivering WLTP ranges of up to 213 miles and 308 miles.
The electric hatch can recharge from 10% to 80% in around 29 minutes with the standard battery.
With a starting price of around €30,000 ($35,000) in Europe and £25,000 in the UK, the IONIQ 3 is an affordable option for European drivers.
The IONIQ 3's smaller size and lower cost make it an attractive option for European drivers.
