For sowing maize, Pöttinger has modified the dual disc coulters so that each maize seed is optimally embedded in the seed slot. To further enhance its versatility, the rake's rotors offer 3D articulation in all directions, allowing it to follow ground contours accurately and collect all cut crop. This results in reduced contamination and increased efficiency for farmers. The mounted twin-rotor rake is designed to be compact and manoeuvrable, weighing just 1.5t and requiring a medium-sized tractor of only 140hp to operate.
